I have been meaning to write this review since so long. If you follow me on instagram (user: tewarisakshi) , you would know my love for PAC cosmetics. I have been obsessed with their eyeshadows, brushes, highlighters (review coming soon). The blogosphere is full with the swatches of their products, but I saw that there were not many reviews.
Given I have fallen head over heels in love with their foundation, I had to review it. And yes, I do realize I have given away my opinion on the foundation in one line, already 🙂

What I have to say: I have not obsessed so hard on any foundation, ever since the Body Shop foundation (reviewed here). I am always on a lookout for a foundation that can give a smooth finish, without emphasizing on my dry skin. When PAC launched this product, I almost ordered it as soon as I could. The shade finding was a bit difficult, but so is everytime with online shopping. PAC cosmetics is kind enough to post swatches of all their products on their instagram page, so I made a guess looking at them, and it worked like a charm. I am a shade 3.0 in their range. My complexion is in the medium family, with warm undertones. ( I am a NC42 in MAC).
The packaging is as convenient as it can get. Its a glass bottle, a sturdy one, with a pump dispenser. You have no idea how much a pump dispenser makes me happy. It makes life so much more easy. The quantity is standard for all foundation, anyway I never run out of my foundations, unless I am hard core obsessed.
The texture is not thick, but not super runny either. It feels smoothing on the skin. My pores appear smaller, and it never sinks into my fine lines. The coverage is medium, but is easily buildable. They have 22 shades, so kudos to their team, for covering a huge range of skintones out there. India is a country of varied skintones afterall. The formula is very hydrating, I don’t find it cracking or clinging to my skin at all. It covers my minor imperfections in one layer. For more coverage, I tried layering upto 3 layers of this, and it still look skin like. I am mighty impressed with the finish of this product.
It blends very easily. I like to use a PAC beauty blender (review here) mostly, but some days I do use a buffer brush, and it works equally good with both. The brush does give a little more coverage, and less dewy look. It does not have any SPF, that makes it amazing for flash photography. Never failed me in any party or events.
I have been wearing this foundation almost every day, and trust me, it stays put for 7-8 hours, before it even begins to fade. It doesn’t turn oily through the day, and it doesn’t oxidise (turn darker with time) on me.
The price of the foundation is affordable as well, given you would not need to layer a lot. I do powder it a bit, but some days I go without adding any powder on top, and it still fares me well.
If you are willing to buy a new foundation, do give it a go. It ‘s almost like a high end foundation at a drugstore price. Totally obsessed.
