What I think:
The lipsticks come in a plastic tube, it doesn’t feel very sturdy, but is functional. The body of the lipstick is color matched with the lipstick, although I won’t say that it is done very accurately. The shade is mentioned in a sticker placed at the bottom of the lipstick.
The quantity of the lipstick is of standard size and the bullet is quite easy to use. The formula of the lipstick is what had surprised me. I was not expecting much of the lipstick at this price, but I am very pleasantly surprised. The formula is creamy, the finish is not matte but satiny. It glides easily without any tugging, and applies nicely. One needs to go over twice or thrice to build and even out the colour, but I anyway go over my lips twice atleast. The lipstick has no shimmer or glitter, which I like.
The lipsticks stay almost 2 hours on me without a liner, but does not live through a meal. It won’t stain the lips, so that is a plus point. There is a certain cosmetic/chemical smell to them, but nothing that overwhelms. The smell fades away quickly. They don’t stain my lips, and doesn’t dry them out, however, it is not hydrating either. They do not emphasize the lip lines. The colours are perfect for daytime and office wear.
“03 Come naturally” is a cool toned nude, has a little more pigment than the other shade. It is a little ashy on my complexion, but I make it work with a darker lip liner or with full blown makeup on my eyes. However, I won’t recommend it to people with deeper complexion than mine (I am NC42 in MAC). “05 Cool nude” is not as cool toned as 03, even though it is called cool nude. The formula is a little sheer and slightly streaky. But with some effort, it works just fine. 2-3 layers covers my lip pigmentation easily.
Overall, these lipsticks really surprise me, in fact, Come naturally has find place in my hand bag. I love to wear it when I am wearing kohl rimmed eyes. The slight glossy finish of the lipsticks, makes my lips look a little healthier than they are, who would complain to that.
